JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:
Pizza Hut Canada is looking for a strategic, commercially minded Senior Marketing Manager, Retail Calendar to lead the planning and execution of our integrated marketing calendar. This role is responsible for translating business priorities into customer-facing campaigns that drive transactions, sales growth, and brand relevance while building strong alignment and partnership with our franchisees.
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will serve as the central connector across Marketing, Digital, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, franchisees, and agency partners to develop and execute an integrated annual marketing calendar. From national promotions and menu innovation launches to omnichannel campaigns and local marketing activation, you will ensure every initiative is strategically planned, operationally ready, supported by franchisees, and flawlessly executed.
This is a highly cross-functional strategic role that blends commercial strategy, project leadership, franchisee partnership, consumer marketing, and performance optimization to deliver business results.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own the development, governance, and execution of Pizza Hut Canada's integrated annual marketing calendar, ensuring alignment with business objectives and commercial priorities.
- Lead the planning and execution of national promotions, menu launches, and integrated marketing campaigns that drive transactions, sales growth, and customer engagement.
- Partner cross-functionally with Brand, Food Innovation, Growth Marketing, Digital, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless campaign planning and execution.
- Build strong partnerships with franchisees, gaining alignment on the annual marketing calendar, incorporating field feedback, and supporting successful execution of national initiatives.
- Translate business priorities into actionable marketing plans, developing business cases and strategic recommendations to support commercial decisions.
- Manage agency partners throughout campaign development and execution, ensuring high-quality deliverables, strong collaboration, and alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee campaign execution across all customer touchpoints, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, on budget, and with operational excellence.
- Analyze campaign, customer, and sales performance to generate insights, optimize future marketing plans, and maximize return on investment.
- Manage marketing budgets, project timelines, and resources while providing regular performance updates and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related discipline.
- 7-10+ years of progressive marketing experience within QSR, retail, or a consumer-focused organization.
- 3+ years leading cross-functional teams or managing people.
- Demonstrated experience developing integrated marketing calendars and national promotional campaigns.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to connect marketing strategy to financial outcomes.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience interpreting customer, sales and financial data.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills across multiple functions.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment with changing priorities.
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth.
The expected hiring range for this role is $129,140 to $167,750 CAD, inclusive of base salary and target annual performance bonus. Final compensation will be based on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
