Sr Manager, Build Team Capability

We are seeking a people and operations-minded leader to own the Build Team Capability pillar for Pizza Hut's Global Training Center of Excellence. This role oversees the creation of blended learning solutions for 350k Team Members around the world.

This role leads a team that:

• Supports restaurant teams, ensuring that they are capable and confident as they step into their roles as cooks, customer service representatives, or drivers.

• Creates training for new product offerings, partnering with ops to ensure the approach will yield winning results

• Provides certification training for Pizza Hut Express licensees and units around the country

This role creates the vision and strategy for the Build Team Capability pillar, ensuring training solutions are engaging, inspiring, easy to execute, and measurable. This role helps the broader training team create training experiences that fuel brand love, pizza passion, and flawless ops execution.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: 8+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, Field HR, Training.


Required:

  • You will be required to attend the Plano, TX office 3 days a week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
  • Strong knowledge of Instructional Design theory.
  • Kirkpatrick levels of evaluation, best practices in the field of learning, creating, supporting, and sustaining blended learning experiences.
  • Proven track record of operating independently, demonstrating creativity, strong attention to detail, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working in virtually connected, fast-paced, and ambiguous environments.
  • Ability to think critically, analytically, and creatively.
  • Experience creating blended training programs.
  • Ability to naturally incorporate a message of inclusion and belonging into work, life, and programs.
  • Demonstrates a growth-mindset and sense of curiosity.
  • Ability to make deep connections to influence and inspire partnerships.
  • Excellent facilitation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong collaborator.
  • Ability to involve and influence key stakeholders.


Preferred:

  • Restaurant industry/operations or ops support experience.
  • Experience working with Franchisees.


Bachelor's degree preferred (Examples: Learning & Development, ISD, English, Comms, I/O Psychology, Education, or related field and/or certifications)

Salary Range: $142,500 to $150,840 annually + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate's location, experience, and other job-related factors.
