Sr. Technical Product Mgr II

We are looking for a passionate, dynamic, pizza-loving Product Owner to lead Pizza Hut's Restaurant Experience back of house transformation. As a Product Owner at Pizza Hut, you are the ultimate owner of the team member experience - partnering closely with design, engineering, and data science teams to bring human-centered digital experiences to life.

In this role you will investigate and uncover ways to improve team member experience in store through a digital transformation of our back of house technologies. You will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, vendor partners to improve restaurant operations with an eye towards improving user experiences. You'll also help drive forward complex, large-scale technical transformation projects as Pizza Hut modernizes its tech stack and prepares for the future.

Strategy & Planning
  • Executes the vision established by the Sr. Product Manager
  • Owns the lifecycle of their product(s)
    • Manage sprint iterations and Agile ceremonies like stand up, storyboarding, retrospective, etc.
    • Maintain and communicate weekly status updates.
    • Work progress tracking and managing predictability.
    • Manage team backlog and prioritize items.

Delivery & Execution
  • Creates requirements and synthesizes into user stories; Breaks requirements into iterative sprint-sized stories to optimize speed-to-value.
  • Develops project plans & participates in release process - manages risks, communicates product needs, and surfaces issues to cross-functional teams and key stakeholders.
  • Coordination across 3rd party vendors ensuring timely issue resolution and delivery on key milestones.
  • Participates in stand-ups, grooming/planning sessions, demos, and retrospectives. Fosters team collaboration, co-creation, and open communication.
  • Learn and understand the customer's needs; and translate those into business requirements.

Knowledge & Skills Required
  • 4-6 years experience as PO/PM required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Analytical mindset and experience turning insights into action required.
  • Bachelor's degree required or relevant experience required.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (epics, features, stories,), modern software development practices (test driven development) and tools (Jira, Confluence) required.

Salary Range: $124,100 to $140,000 annually + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate's location, experience, and other job-related factors.
