Responsibilities
  • Architect the product vision, strategy and roadmap for the more technical elements of the product delivery process.
  • Lead requirement gathering, user story creation, prioritization and execution with cross-functional teams, ensuring consistent communication with peers and leadership.
  • Define core milestones for project delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic priorities while also identifying opportunities for improvements and optimizations.
  • Manage cross-functional technical discussions utilizing development and engineering expertise to help align product and engineering goals.
  • Collaborate with the Product, Engineering, Design, and Analytics teams to deliver key projects, fostering cross-functional teamwork and communication.
  • Identify project dependencies and manage roadmap execution across multiple squads and projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with overarching goals.
  • Responsible for identifying and communicating possible risks and project impediments, proactively addressing challenges to minimize impact on project timelines and outcomes.
  • Partner with business leaders to align business roadmaps and overarching vision to ensure long-term roadmap integrity.
  • Understand and communicate risks, hurdles and dependencies across technical squads and third parties that will impact product delivery and take proactive measures to remedy issues; navigate ambiguous challenges effectively.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Significant experience in engineering or product management, with a proven track record of delivering successful digital products or ecommerce platforms.
  • Strong technical background with experience in software engineering or related technical roles, including experience with ecommerce platforms, payment gateways, and related technologies.
  • Familiarity with React and React Native, with an understanding of their application in building responsive and high-performance ecommerce solutions.
  • Expertise in agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, with experience managing cross-functional teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Leadership experience, with a passion for mentoring and developing junior team members.
  • Experience in global ecommerce or retail industries is a plus.
