Manager, Strategic Planning

The Manager of Strategic Planning is a newly created position responsible for leading the execution and management of strategic and operational plans for the company. This role will work closely with the Pizza Hut US Leadership Team, Strategy Team, Finance, and cross-functional partners to align the company's vision, goals, and initiatives with short and long-term business plans. The Manager of Strategic Planning will play a key role in supporting and facilitating effective recurring leadership meetings, and act as a thought partner to the Director of Strategic Planning. In this role you will have a unique opportunity to see and influence how the Pizza Hut business runs from the C-Suite all the way to the individual contributors executing each day. You will have a primary role helping connect these layers together to drive efficient execution and a deep level of alignment and shared vision.

  • Partner with leadership team for strategic enablement and delivery execution
  • Drive thought leadership and coordination across the organization
  • Lead and manage decision making framework and go-to-market execution
  • Lead development and delivery of presentations, pre-reads, and materials for key stakeholder meetings and engagements.
  • Support leaders and functions in structuring problems, planning, and outlining recommendations particularly working to support cross-functional solutions
  • Act as a thought partner to the Director of Strategic Planning on tactical and / or strategic matters
  • Lead special projects and initiatives at direction of the CFO or Director of Strategic Planning

  • 7+ years' experience in strategy, strategic planning, consulting, project management or similar
  • You must be a self-starter who is resilient and able to define milestones and goals to achieve outcomes in ambiguous situations.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with a focus on experience building high quality, clear, visual presentations.
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize strategic insights quickly and integrate those insights into plans and actions.
  • Experience and comfort working with all levels of an organization from the C-suite to individual contributors.
  • Experience in projects/program management on large scale cross functional efforts.
  • Experience working in a product organization is strongly preferred.
