Overview - What you'll do:

Reporting directly to the Global Head of Data and Analytics, the Director of Analytics role will lead and empower a team that supports our global Marketing, Advertising, and Food Innovation organizations to modernize our menu and effectively bring new food products and deals to market across our 11,000 restaurants in 140+ countries.

You will lead a team of analytics professionals to design and execute test and learn processes, analyze our existing marketing and advertising campaigns, and drive our forward-looking strategy.

You will be a passionate driving force liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure marketing strategies and plans are driving consistent sales growth to build a stronger brand. You will be the voice of the consumer within the organization, taking the lead in aligning and influencing franchisee organizations to drive the brand's growth. In addition, you will be a champion of business and product experimentation and will be responsible for driving forward both the digital product as well as helping the organisation smash its ambitious goals.

This role provides the unique opportunity to shape the future direction of data strategy, architecture, and tooling within a Fortune-500 company.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Partner with and influence key stakeholders in our marketing and advertising calendar leadership teams to support and drive decision-making
  • Mentor a team of skilled Data Analysts who execute testing and analysis across all aspects of marketing and food innovation
  • Build a standardized reporting and analysis process to understand the impact of Pizza Hut's advertising activities
  • Develop and execute test and learn processes for Marketing and Food Innovation teams
  • Guide team members in performing ad-hoc profitability and pricing analyses
  • Become an exceptional coach who helps guide team members in both technical capabilities and career growth
  • Actively influence leadership teams across the globe in your team's areas of expertise
  • Champion the inclusive and learning culture of wider Pizza Hut data and analytics team
  • Advocate for data driven decision making across the business

  • 10+ years of experience working in technical teams and delivering outcomes.
  • 8+ years of experience working in data science or advanced analytics
  • 3+ years of experience leading, coaching, and mentoring direct reports.
  • Strong communicator, capable of bridging a gap between technical teams and executive stakeholders and presenting complex concepts concisely
  • Experience with strategic planning and budget management
  • Experience with Product Model methodology
  • Proficiency in a relevant data/development language for cloud platforms (e.g., R, Python, Java, SQL and C#/Unix)
