I love the people who I work with.

So many in 28 years of service.....An ex-employee called asking if we were hiring. Knowing this person already had a job, I asked why. He informed me he was looking for his son. Hiring a second-generation Hut employee and being able to be part of that was exciting. Watching the employees grow into contributing people of society and then being able to watch their children.

I love the regulars who dine in.

Working at Pizza Hut has showed me to appreciate the challenges that come with the job, and has taught me many new skills especially while working with customers, or even socializing with team members within our store. Pizza Hut has now become a new second home for me and I can’t wait to see what else may come from my experience in working here!

Everyone pulls together to help everyone in time of need. It may be personal or work problems but we all pull together.

When we are slow, I love the joking around. We have a driver here who is just hilarious and sometimes when I come in here tired and probably a little grumpy, he has made me laugh.

I like driving, there are pretty chill people here.

Some of my customers have become my friends and I really enjoy that very much. I know a lot of customers by name that come to pick up orders. It makes them feel special.

They are great people! Best work place environment! We all work together. Great bosses! Just all around good people to work with!

The opportunity is working with my college schedule really well. I can easily go to class during the day time, and come nights I can come deliver for dinner rush/close for some extra money.

Let’s just say that the fun people I work with are a big reason why I’m still here lol.

When a customer called up here and said that I was the nicest person on the phone, that made my day.

My favorite experience while working at Pizza Hut would have to be late at night, when it slows down and everyone is cleaning. My team loves to joke around and mess with each other. It just kinda comes to show that even at work you can have a good time and make it fun, without the hassle. Work is work, but there is always time for flexibility and fun.

The team environment is much better, making the same amount of work much easier because everyone is doing their part.

Once everything starts slowing down for the day, the rest of the team always has fun things to converse about.

My favorite experience would be sometime around when I first started working here. It was the summertime and the evenings were super fast-paced and really got me into the job.

My favorite experience was when my ARL at the time nominated me for the Hut Hero Award. I didn’t receive it but the recognition meant more than a dollar amount.

Getting to meet new people almost every day

We had a mini thanksgiving dinner with just the staff. Everyone was invited and if you couldn’t bring a dish that was alright too.

Don’t have a specific single experience...every day is a new day to smile and make others smile. We laugh, joke, and smile a lot at our store and get our jobs done as quickly and efficiently as possible.

My favorite experience is having a boss whom I enjoy working for and pays attention to her people. She was able to notice how I enjoy being challenged and get bored from only having the same routines, as well as noticed my efforts, knowledge, drive, and capability.

I have a wonderful team who pulls together and helps each other out. They have positive attitudes and care about us achieving great results.

My favorite experience was helping my team one Friday night when we were backed up with a lot of orders - really made me feel great.

I moved to a new city and got hired at Pizza Hut. There I met my first friend who I would also then see in school.

Working here has made me into the leader that I am. I am respected and my opinions matter. Other places don’t truly care about their teams, only the bottom line.

I left a positive comment for a teammate, but my handwriting was so similar to the teammate I wrote it for, that they were jokingly accused of having written it for themselves. The teammate and I found it very funny. I’ve also had a number of very positive interactions with guests, especially small children given the privilege to hand over cash for delivery orders, and who are very proud of themselves. I enjoy being able to give the children small boxes or items from the order to carry to help out in their families.

Getting promoted as an RGM... It really showed what I can do and it was recognized by a lot of people in the company. Knowing that my old area was proud for my accomplishments they never forget to keep in touch with me.

Being able to serve people in my community

It’s relaxed and upbeat for the most part. My opinion matters and suggestions aren’t thrown out.

My favorite experience is when the customers that come in on a weekly basis come in. Some you just learn their name and order just from experience interacting with them for so long.

Love that we are charitable

It is the most flexible job, with the most convenient pay and benefits of any job I have worked in the food industry, and it pays substantially better than my salaried job that I also do for the government.

Having a great friendship

How great it was here, because honestly I would’ve been applied the support and motivation that I receive from those around me it helps me through my everyday life and has changed me for the betterment of my future.

I have an older gentleman that comes through my drive-thru every Friday. He always orders the same pizza. He always makes time to ask how my family is doing and I always make sure to ask him the same.

I work in a small town. Everyone is friendly and everyone helps each other out at work.

My favorite experience was on Halloween. For fun I was handing out candy when taking my deliveries. One of the houses thought it was so kind that they gave me candy instead, and I felt like a kid trick or treating again.

When my brother was diagnosed with cancer, Lisa the RCM was very supportive of my schedule needs while my brother was going through treatment. She was always asking about him and telling me if I needed anything to tell her.

It started out years ago. We all just connected like family - that was always the best.

I feel a mutual respect between everyone here, and everyone is treated equally no matter what position they hold.

It’s laid back and schedule is flexible.

I have made so many great friends. After long nights, it was always great to laugh while we would clean up.

It’s a pretty laid back job.

The crew and management are easy to work with and work very well together.

With COVID going on there’s not a lot of stories to tell, but I have really lucked out with the group of people and management I work with. They are all great.

You never know who your path might cross with. It’s really great to see regulars, but it’s just as equally satisfying to meet new customers

Every conversation I have with my coworkers has been fun. Everyone tells their own stories and we have fun times.

When I was a waitress, I loved getting to enjoy conversations with my customers. Now as a RGM I love watching the excitement from my team members about coming to work and being willing to learn new things.

My old AC was the best. He was always there if you needed something explained to you or, if you were short staffed more than you could handle, he would be right there to roll up his sleeves and help wherever you might need him.

I thought he was going to thank everyone for their hard work when I saw a hat and apron in his hand. He looked at me and said “Everyone, I want you to meet our new Safety Captain.“ I am now the official Pizza Hut safety captain!!!!

How close everyone can be if they choose to. Everyone here is friendly and helps one another.

I got a flat tire one night, and my GM had her husband come change my tire in the rain so I could get back out on the road fast - best GM ever.

I deliver only on Fridays. I look forward to delivering to my regular Friday customers who I’ve become accustomed to seeing and interacting with.

Favorite experience while working at Pizza Hut was when all of my team members were on the ball and we got orders out of the way and put smiles on our customers’ faces.

We make sure our food is fresh and hot and ready for our customers in a timely matter. Always putting the customers first.

Being at Pizza Hut, I’ve met a few customers who have grown to be my regulars, and it makes my day to know they appreciate me.

At our particular location, we receive quite a few large company orders regularly. It’s at those times when the team is working together and we are efficiently putting those orders together that I enjoy my time best.

What I love most about working at Pizza Hut is that there is always a new challenge for me to conquer. You can always work on being better and Pizza Hut always gives me challenges and something to work on.

My team is super hardworking and supportive. I feel like a part of the team and I really like that.

One year my coworkers had balloons and cake for my birthday. It was a nice surprise.

Great environment, fast paced always on your toes. Every day isn’t the same.

Upper management came to visit the store and the Divisional Manager acknowledged my hard work and gave me a football.

The growth - not only was this my first job, but I learned every position. Then I became a manager, and then a higher level manager. It’s taught me skills I can use outside of the workplace as well.

I have only recently started here but the way everyone helped me in my training was awesome.

Working at Pizza Hut in a small town means that you know just about everyone. The team is not just a family, but so are the customers. Customers often open up about their day when paying for their food, and we get to connect with them more through sharing support. Even if we dont know how their day truly went, we can still put a smile on their face.

The opportunities I have had for growth within the company. The familiar faces of customers I see almost daily lets me know that I am doing something good. And the recognition that I have received the past 2 years makes my job worth it.

Many stories... but celebrating employees for any reason has been so pleasing! Celebrating one employee’s birthday, he cried! Said no one had wished him a happy birthday in 3 years. Another was like, "Wow! You guys really are a family." Celebrating our employees each day... is worth its weigh in gold.

My favorite experience while working for Pizza Hut is the crazy rush days. Halloween, Christmas Eve, New Year’s, and Super Bowl Sunday always have a ton of orders and it’s super fast paced and I love it. There are also times when the store is short drivers and I am called in to help out and I feel like a super hero because the orders fly out the door when I get there.
