Product Owner – Mobile Apps


Defining customer experience

* Work with UX and Analytics teams to define the customer experience both in and out of the Mobile App
* Evaluate screens and wireframes
* Identify how to improve the customer's experience in a phased approach
* Use data and prototypes to test concepts and theories

Choose the best technical solution

* Work with Development teams & Stakeholders to analyze possible technical solutions
* Create, maintain and prioritize the product backlog
* Using Agile principles; create features and stories to guide development and implementation of the chosen solution
* Ensure the successful delivery of the solution through testing, beta, and launch
* Make decisions to change the solution scope or communicate new timelines to Stakeholders and Leadership when timelines do not fit
* Predict business affect of projects on launch
* Implement features to allow key metric tracking and data gathering
* Utilize new features offered by iOS and Android operating systems and devices

Project Manage Stakeholders, Experts, and Development teams

* Organize and drive accountability to hold working teams to planned dates
* Communicate project status to Working teams, Stakeholders, and Leadership
* Coordinate meetings and follow up on action items

Ensure the project's success when launched

* Research competitors and issues in the market that may hinder success
* Work with Marketing and Pricing teams to compete in the market
* Coordinate with Operations and Communications teams to ensure proper use and support of the solution
* Work with Technology Support teams to monitor and ensure the robustness of the solution
* Create a solution that the business can support
* Identify long-term costs to support the project both technologically and operationally
* Work with customer-facing teams to provide scripts and instructions to solve problems
* Create support reporting to track the effectiveness of the support program

Minimum Requirements


* Bachelor's Degree preferred
* 3+ years recent experience in Project management, product management, or product ownership role
* Working with Development and User Experience teams
* Rally, Jira or similar tool
* Sketch, Photoshop or similar tool

* Technology
* A/B testing tools

* Agile development methodology or Waterfall development methodology
* Must be able to thrive in an unstructured environment and self-organize
* Clear communications and ability to curate information for various audiences
* Deep experience in product design, development, and launch processes
* Track record of driving revenues from eCommerce products with large user base
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Excellent knowledge of web services and consumer software
* Entrepreneurial, result-oriented mindset
* Strong sense of ownership
