High level overview of the role:

The Learning and Development role focusses on talent across the Latin American/Iberia (LAI) region including the restaurant support center and restaurant teams. The key deliverables include restaurant level metrics, above store talent who pass the rehire test and a culture execution that is visible and felt by all.

JOB SIZE:

Latin America/Iberia (LAI) region constitutes ~2500 restaurants in 32 countries and operating 2 brands Pizza Hut and Telepizza, this role is key to recruitment. Development and retention of talent above store and in store by executing the HR and Training strategy

JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Support franchise organizations to drive culture and employee engagement using the Yum! framework for Smart, Heart and Courage

- Support franchise markets to drive performance on HR measures for Restaurants Support Centre, build a culture where an A team leads the business in each Latin America/Iberia (LAI) markets

- Lead employee development and engagement initiatives for Pizza Hut Latin America and Iberia teams, lead the Next gen Program of emerging leaders

- Partner with functional hiring managers and recruitment teams to lead & support the recruitment and onboarding needs for Pizza Hut LAI

- Partner with Operations to drive bench planning and build capability for restaurant and above-restaurant leaders

- Manage Hut University, a training platform with one convenient website that is the single point of access to all learning-related activities, courses and reporting (an Operating Standard and primary pillar of the World Class Operations Vision)

- Support field implementation of HR/Training Technology, Lead implementation and drive usage of training systems in assigned markets

- Collaborate cross functionally and with Pizza Hut International teams in creation and delivery of training material for NPD regional rollouts

- Partner with Latin America, Caribbean & Iberia (LAI) Pizza Hut team to drive key brand strategic initiatives. (i.e. new layers and channels, brand positioning)

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIRED:

EDUCATION:
- Undergrad Degree in HR, Learning & Development or Business preferred
EXPERIENCE (and other qualifications):
- 3-5 years' experience in Retail or Quick Service Industry in a medium to a large size organization leading Training, development or Organizational Development

- Proficiency in Spanish and English (including writing)

- Previous business and cultural experience in Latin America preferable

- Must be fully vaccinated by January 3, 2022, subject to reasonable accommodations. Proof of vaccination required.
