Manager, Business Strategy

Description:

The Manager of Business Strategy will report into the Chief Transformation Officer and support the President of the US business and leadership team to drive strategic planning, strategic priorities, and key stakeholder engagement and communication. Will partner with the Transformation Officer and CFO to develop the annual strategy AOP and help plan and build the materials for key stakeholder touchpoints, including Board meetings, franchisee conferences, and Partners' council. They will also support and facilitate effective recurring leadership meetings, and act as a thought partner to the Chief Transformation Officer.
  • Develop the annual strategy AOP, based on inputs from the CMO / Brand Strategy team, Transformation officer, and US LT
  • In collaboration with leadership team and Transformation Officer lead preparation for key stakeholder presentations (Board meetings, Partners' Council, franchisee conferences, Lender's day, etc.), leading material creation and helping draft talking points to ensure consistent, high-quality messaging
  • Manage agenda and prep/coordinate support materials for regular leadership team meetings; codify and support follow-up on resulting decisions and action items
  • Support leaders and functions in structuring problems, planning, and outlining recommendations particularly working to support cross-functional solutions
  • Act as a thought partner to the Chief Transformation Officer on tactical and / or strategic matters
  • Lead special projects and initiatives at direction of the CFO or Chief Transformation Officer
  • Represent Transformation org when the Transformation Officer and CFO are unavailable

Knowledge and Skills Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in strategy, strategic planning, consulting, or similar field
  • Proven ability to structure and develop materials and communication for executive audiences
  • Ability to influence a diverse group of stakeholders
  • Ability to effectively build and maintain cross-functional senior-level relationships
  • Excellent ability to quickly learn and synthesize complex topics
  • Strong project and process management skills and organizational skills with a proven ability to work across multiple projects and tasks, prioritizing effectively (distinguishing urgency and importance)
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills (including excellent PowerPoint skills)
