We are looking for a Chief Digital & Technology Officer with a proven track record in leading digital transformation and adoption of technologies across an organization. This role will be responsible for transforming business strategy using technology and data, and championing how people, processes, and technology can enable that digital vision. As an established digital leader, you will have the skills to influence at every level, imparting your digital knowledge and skills in a constructive, empowering, and collaborative way. You will be responsible for leading and developing the Technology team. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will be working closely with stakeholders within the business unit, functional Senior Leaders and our franchise community. Your goal will be to drive growth and strategic renewal by transforming the organization's traditional analog business into digital. CDTO's focus on creating new value through the smart use of digital tools, platforms, technologies, services, and processes.

Capability Building, Leadership & Direction
  • Oversee the adoption of digital technologies and ways of working across the organization
  • Lead digital transformation of business models, customer/team member experience on a foundation of data & analytics and product management
  • Identify and map digital capabilities to business strategic priorities
  • Build world-class team and energize organization to enable the vision & strategy
  • Provide direction, leadership, and coaching to both permanent and contractor expertise within the Technology team, focusing on functional goals delivery as well as people capability building
  • Hold self and team to high standards at all times, and be proactive in identifying, assessing and mitigating strategic risks when teams are balancing time and quality.
  • Build awareness across the business and franchise community on technology projects, and technology enablement of other projects initiatives, which includes but is not limited to awareness on Technology strategy, projects and integration with the business' objectives.
  • Ensuring RSC, Franchise partners and key vendors have the resources and know-how to successfully execute and deliver within their teams.

Digital Technology Vision & Strategy
  • Partner with business leaders to create the digital & technology strategy
  • Set technical vision and lead technological development
  • Develop strategic plans and timelines from design to deployment of all products and services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners across marketing, operations, and development as an advisor for all relevant technologies
  • Manage supplier relationships across digital and technology products and services
  • Accountable for the establishment and management of the relevant budgets across the technology teams
  • Ensure technology standards and best practices are met across the business unit
  • Defining company standards for systems, equipment, and software
  • Share technological visions, challenges, opportunities, and risks company-wide
  • Sets the technology team plans and schedules and be accountable for reporting on progress, risks, issues and sets direction on delivery to time, quality, and cost.
  • Keep current with new industry trends, technologies, and software development

Ad Hoc Support Items
  • When required direct the troubleshooting and resolution of live issues; be a senior escalation point for Technology issues.
  • When required acts as the Major Incident Director, directing the incident responses and being accountable for maintaining communications in any escalated incident.
  • Some working outside of traditional, core hours may be required, working with the wider teams across Yum, help manage the suppliers and third parties to ensure the systems released across Global Pizza Hut best support the business.

  • Fluency in Spanish and English required. Portuguese fluency is a plus.
  • Extensive experience in senior technology leadership, ideally in a number of senior roles within E-Commerce or other Fast-paced Tech and Digital Organizations
  • Solid knowledge of development, testing, agile methods, data, integrations service desk processes and protocols.
  • Knowledge and experience covering enterprise and/or solution architecture.
  • A pragmatic planner, able to broker effective agreements between diverse parties.
  • Initiative and drive for self-development beyond company assisted training and mentoring; active in the training and mentoring of others.
  • Relationship-building skills - and ability to gain influence with key stakeholders in order to drive data-driven decisions.
