Description:
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:Reporting to the Director of Calendar, the Category Growth Manager of Aggregators will be responsible for accelerating the growth of the aggregator channel, and more broadly Pizza Hut's position in ease / access channels. They will first operate on a delivery "mission" team, focusing on growing the aggregator channel through improved placement, conversion, customer experience and strategic promotions. They will help lead the solutioning on this topic, and work with the rest of the mission team and franchisee partners to rapidly develop, test, and help deploy to scale ideas to win across aggregator marketplaces. Long-term, they will lead the strategic planning and cross functional execution of Pizza Hut's national aggregator calendar topics (innovation or existing equity) launches to build the brand and drive long-term growth and performance based on relevant promotions and exceptional brand experience from menu interaction to ops fulfillment. This person will be responsible for representing brand and business goals achieved via aggregators through white space identification, innovation, product or service design, brand touch points and advertising communication, while keeping a keen eye towards in-market analysis and optimization. They will be instrumental in meeting financial and brand building goals, and in developing a critical emerging channel.

Working relationships:
- To start, will operate within a cross-functional agile mission team. They will report to a team leader, under the guidance of the COO, and work closely with cross-functional business and tech team members and franchisee partners. Long-term, will report into the Director of Calendar, as part of the Brand Strategy & Calendar team of the Marketing function. Will work closely with the Calendar team, and other Marketing function teams to develop a long-term strategic plan, drive growth, and execute promotional windows (e.g., Consumer Insights & Market Intelligence, Pricing, Brand, Media). Will also work cross-functionally where required, likely collaborating with Food Innovation, Data & Analytics, Finance, and Operations.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Work on the US delivery "mission team:
- Help lead the solutioning and analysis, focusing on actions to accelerate growth with aggregators by improving placement, conversion, and experience
- Partner with business and tech team members and franchisee partners to create prototypes and develop and launch tests against potential opportunities
- Participate in broader team analysis and strategic and creative problem-solving process; support and engage in business analysis, customer and market research, solution development, etc.
- Lead in the establishment of aggregator-specific calendar topic (a product innovation/promotional window) business cases, inclusive of key components such as competitive analysis, target consumer, size prizing and forecasted business impact, while also setting clear objectives & KPIs for the promotional focus. (NOTE: Role will work in close partnership with PH financial and business analytics teams to formulate financial outputs for business case) Strong command of the self-developed business case analysis and outcomes to confidently present and sell into corporate leadership and franchise community stakeholders
- Lead the development of product / channel positioning, help uncover relevant consumer insights and translate these insights into provocative consumer advertising
- Generate detailed and actionable post topic learning summaries to inform future topic consideration and/or optimizations
- Provide nationally replicable marketing recommendations that will drive same store sales and profitable transactions
- Operate with customer obsession and as a true brand guardian, persistently seeking to identify customer tension points found within brand interaction and co-solutioning with pertinent teams to resolve
- Build productive relationships with all stakeholders internally: culinary, research and development, marketing, finance, restaurant support services, procurement, and franchisees

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field
- MBA strongly preferred for strong business analysis foundation
- 5-7+ years of marketing experience in QSRs, restaurant, retail, food & beverage, or similar industry; strong preference for demonstrated experience partnering with or working for aggregator marketplaces (DoorDash, UberEats, Grubhub, etc.)
- Deep understanding of marketing and business fundamentals
- Strong analytical and quantitative ability with experience analyzing and interpreting moderately complex data
- Reliability and strong ability to balance multiple work streams/priorities at once
- Consumer Insights-minded - ability to turn insights into actions
- Strong bias for action and demonstrated desire for ownership & accountability
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills in both leader and team player roles
- Ability to influence a diverse group of stakeholders, and communicate and collaborate with senior leaders
- Solid financial/budget management skills
- A dot connector, responsible for making connections across various functional team exposures to build buy-in and clarity of vision while streamlining efforts
Salary Range: $128,400 to $166,100 annually + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate's location, experience, and other job-related factors.
