Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Franchisee Communication Strategy - Create and implement an effective communication plan that ensures consistent messaging across all communication channels for franchisees.
- Content Calendar Management - Develop and maintain a content calendar that aligns with key business objectives, franchisee needs, and company priorities.
- Cross-functional Collaboration - Work closely with leadership and other departments to translate strategic goals into clear and impactful communication plans.
- Content Creation and Editing - Draft, review, and edit communication materials, including presentations, newsletters, and updates tailored for franchisees.
- Event Planning and Execution - Support the organization of franchisee conferences, town halls, and webinars, managing content and communication deliverables.
- Franchisee Communication & Engagement: Ensure franchisee communications are aligned with brand voice, values, and business priorities. Support the planning and execution of franchisee conferences, town halls, webinars, and other event by managing content & communication deliverables. Monitor the effectiveness of communications through feedback and surveys, using insights to enhance engagement strategies.
- Maintain Internal Relationships - Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Marketing, Development, IT) to stay informed about business changes and ensure franchisee communication is up to date.
- Advisory Role - Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing insights on communication gaps and franchisee needs.
Required Qualifications:
- You will be required to attend the Plano, TX office 3 days a week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
- Required on-call time (approximately every 3rd weekend and after hours)
- Experience: 7-9 years of experience in with a public relations agency or corporate communications department
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Writing Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities with a strong command of AP style.
- Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. Ability to think strategically, anticipate challenges, and develop proactive communication plan.
- Collaboration: Proven success in working cross-functionally with internal teams and stakeholders.
- Event Planning: Experience in supporting conferences or large-scale meetings.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Experience: Previous experience in a QSR, restaurant, or retail environment is a plus.
- Design Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva.
- Technical Proficiency: Light video editing skills.
- Leadership: Experience in leading and guiding teams, particularly in a communication role.
Salary Range: $122,000 - $130,000 annually + bonus eligibility . This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate's location, experience, and other job-related factors.
