Director, Franchise Transformation

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic framework for distressed Franchises, ensuring significant improvements in restaurant performance and profitability.
- Leverage insights gained from alternate operating models, including JV partnerships, to create a detailed playbook aimed at recovering distressed franchises and begin its implementation with specific organizations identified by the Pizza Hut Franchise Governance Committee (FGC).
- Directly lead finance and marketing resources to maximize the impact of transformation efforts in partnership with franchisee, ensuring alignment across teams to deliver results.
- Work closely with the Franchise Governance Committee and Franchise Excellence Directors to identify distressed FZs and provide targeted transformational support as needed.
- Offer hands-on support and strategic counsel to the Franchisee Directors and other key stakeholders on transformation initiatives, ensuring effective implementation and communication across the organization.
- Report directly to the US COO, providing regular updates on transformation progress and outcomes. Ensure clear communication with both the Executive Leadership Team and relevant franchisee partners.
Required Qualifications:
- You will be required to attend the Plano, TX office 3 days a week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, when not traveling.
- A minimum of 10+ years in franchise transformation, business development, or operations within the restaurant or retail industry.
- Strong ability to build financial models, assess franchise performance, and drive financial results.
- Firm understanding of marketing approaches to drive profitable same store sales growth
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams, with the ability to influence and align diverse groups to achieve business objectives.
- Ability to develop and implement a 1-3 year strategic transformation plan while addressing short-term obstacles and immediate needs.
- Strong negotiation and influence skills, particularly in franchisee relationships and complex business partnerships.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with senior executives, internal teams, and franchisee partners to drive alignment and action.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous, high-pressure environments and quickly adjusting strategies to meet evolving business needs.
- Ability to travel 30-40% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience within YUM! or a similar franchise environment is a plus.
- MBA or equivalent education preferred.
Salary Range: $160,400 - $188,800 annually + bonus eligibility and stock-based compensation. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate's location, experience, and other job-related factors.
