Pizza Hut is seeking an experienced Director, Region Leader to join our team. This strategic role will be instrumental in fostering strong relationships with franchisees while driving business results and operational excellence across a large regional area. As a key leader within the organization, you will be responsible for ensuring sales growth, profitability, operational performance, and compliance across approximately 1800 locations. You will partner with franchisees to drive local business success, optimize customer experiences, and improve restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Franchisee Partnership & Relationship Building: Develop a deep understanding of franchisee businesses and local markets. Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships to drive results and ensure franchisee success.
  • Sales & Profitability Management: Be accountable for achieving sales and profitability targets across the region. Leverage deep market insights and operational knowledge to identify growth opportunities.
  • Business Planning & Performance Optimization: Engage with franchisees in a comprehensive business planning process, conducting local market and competitive reviews to identify gaps and opportunities. Drive improvements in sales, traffic, profitability, and customer experience.
  • Operational Excellence: Lead initiatives to improve restaurant operations, including labor management, food cost control, and process optimization. Identify and recommend improvements in restaurant asset management and image.
  • Franchisee Support & Systemic Enhancement: Act as the senior point of contact for franchisees, managing the deployment of key business programs (FBP/OCA). Serve as the communication conduit between the franchisee network and Pizza Hut's internal teams (e.g., finance, HR, marketing, legal, and technology) to implement business initiatives.
  • Accountability & Compliance: Ensure adherence to franchise agreements, operational standards, and key business metrics. Monitor and guide franchisees to ensure compliance and performance improvements.

Required Qualifications:
  • You will be required to attend the Plano, TX office 3 days a week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with the ability to come into the office up to 5 days a week when business and leadership needs are required.
  • 10+ years of experience in senior management roles, preferably in franchise management or a related field
  • Proven experience in building and managing relationships, especially in franchise operations.
  • Strong analytical skills with a track record of utilizing data to drive decision-making.
  • Expertise in root-cause problem-solving methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant P&L management and how to leverage key levers to drive sales and profitability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience QSR operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field

Salary Range: $160,400-$188,800 annually + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate's location, experience, and other job-related factors.
