Digital Technology Leader (LA&C)

We are looking for a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Regional Digital & Technology (D&T) leader for our LA&C business, with a proven track record in leading digital transformation and performance. Key Responsibilities:

Digital Leadership:
  • Lead and develop the Digital & Technology strategy for the LA&C region.
  • Influence at every level, imparting digital knowledge and skills in a constructive, empowering, and collaborative way.
  • Drive digital performance by ensuring the overall tech stack works seamlessly for the benefit of the customer and the teams in-store.
  • Ensure franchisee compliance with brand standards, including driving adoption of the Byte product suite.

Capability Building, Leadership & Direction:
  • Provide direction, leadership, and coaching to both permanent and contractor expertise within the Digital & Technology team.
  • Hold self and team to high standards at all times, proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating strategic risks.
  • Build awareness across the business and franchise community on technology projects and initiatives.
  • Ensure franchise partners and key vendors have the resources and know-how to successfully execute and deliver digital performance.

Technology Strategy & Leadership:
  • Set out the regional strategy for technology, balancing business drivers, supplier roadmaps, project dependencies, and technical constraints.
  • Be accountable for regional input into technology brand standards, Byte product roadmaps, and brand technology strategies and projects.
  • Establish and manage relevant budgets across the Technology teams.
  • Drive digital and technology brand standard adoption with franchisees.
  • Determine structures and resourcing across Technology in partnership with HR & Finance.
  • Coordinate subject matter expertise to support analysis of data to diagnose issues or determine enhancements.
  • Assure regional suppliers and intercede with support from supporting functions as required.
  • Define key strategic initiatives within the digital and technology roadmap to drive overall brand performance and innovative experiences.

Ad Hoc Support:
  • Serve as a senior escalation point for Technology issues with franchisees, Yum D&T, and Yum approved technology suppliers.
  • Occasionally work outside of traditional core hours to manage suppliers and third parties to ensure systems released across Global Pizza Hut best support the business.

Required Qualifications:
  • Must be Bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • You will be required to attend the Plano, TX office 3 days a week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
  • 5+ years in leadership positions, with experience in digital and technology leadership, ideally in senior roles within E-Commerce, Digital Marketing, or other fast-paced tech and digital organizations.
  • Knowledge and experience with digital and operational tools and platforms, including CRM, Loyalty, CDP, and POS.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to gain influence with key stakeholders to drive data-driven decisions.
  • Strong teamworking ethos that fits the Global Pizza Hut working culture and values.
  • Initiative and drive for self-development beyond company-assisted training and mentoring; active in the training and mentoring of others.
  • Global or regional scope exposure, ideally with franchisee relationships or in fast-paced, customer-facing industries.
  • Bachelor's degree required.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree preferred, in fields such as E-Commerce, Digital Marketing, Digital Transformation, Information Technology, or Business Administration.


Salary Range: $139,000 to $160,000 annually + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate's location, experience, and other job-related factors.
